Now is a great time to begin planning where you’ll want to be during the event. Hardy will experience total darkness which makes it a great place to experience the Solar Eclipse.

       Hardy, Arkansas is located in Sharp County and partly in Fulton County, in the north central part of the state, with a population of 743 according to the 2020 census. Founded in the late 1800’s when the railroad arrived, the town grew along the banks of the Spring River, which is fed by the icy waters of the Mammoth Spring, just a few miles north of Hardy.


       The beautiful landscape in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, coupled with cool breezes from the 58-degree water of the Spring River, make Hardy a great place to visit. Its Main Street, as well as outlying areas, offer unique shops, restaurants, and places to visit and explore. With its affordable living, Hardy also makes a nice place to settle.
